Christmas Dessert Recipe with Mandarine Oranges

Today I thought I'd share one of my favourite recipes that I use at Christmas. It's a nice light dessert. (since you probably have many dainties to also serve with, not to mention chocolates, cookies....and so on :-)

It's called CREAMSICLE Dessert
2 (3 oz) pkgs of orange jello
1 c. boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
2 pkgs. (102 g) instant vanilla pudding
2 cups cold milk
2 cans mandarine oranges (drained)
2 cups whipped topping
Dissolve jello in boiling water. stir in cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Prepare pudding using 2 c. milk. Fold in oranges and jello and 1 cup whipped topping. Chill for 4 hours. Enjoy!

Vintage 1982 Hasbro Gloworm Glo Worm

Some of you may remember this classic Gloworm from 1982. Press his tummy and he'll glow. Great comfort toy for any child at night. No child should grow up without one! Beatles Greatist Hits Record Handbag

My newest record handbag creation with the Beatles 20 Greatest Hits Record. All 20 songs listed reached the #1 position on the pop singles charts! Cover has a protective matte clear covering (easily wipes clean). Velcro closure. Handle made of poly web 37" long, which can be used comfortably as a shoulder strap/messenger bag or as a hand held bag. Vinyl material for sides and bottom - double stiched with 2 layers around the edging of sides and bottom - and the top corners backstitched several times. Very strong & durable handbag, yet very soft and light. Lies completely flat when not in use BUT yet it has ample room inside.

Handbag made from the Classic record cover of Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. I remember putting on my HUGE headphones and listening to this fabulous album! Yet another Nancy Drew Book Handbag. I like the macrame handles - gives it a different twist than the beaded handles. Did I mention that I do customer orders? I've done quite alot of them....my next order is someone who wants to personalize and give each of her bridesmaids a handbag made out of one of their favourite books. What a great idea! Like I mentioned before I'm "addicted" to making book handbags! I just purchased alot more volumes of the Nancy Drew books. Here are my latest - Nancy Drew Clue of the Broken Locket Handbag and Nancy Drew Clue in the Jewel Box. I've made these with macrame handles...something a little different than the beaded handles I've been making.

I got lucky and purchased a spot in the Etsy Storque Main Showcase today. At the moment my Nancy Drew Book Handbag is being displayed. To get a spot it was similar to a bidding war on Ebay lol!

Vintage Dick and Jane Book Handbag

Imagine all the little fingers that went through this classic book of "Fun with Dick and Jane"! I could not resist creating a handbag out of this particular book. The wear of the hardcover gives it character. I also have another Our New Friends Dick and Jane purse listed.

I Made it to the Front Page of Etsy!

I made it to the Front Page of Etsy with my recycled vinyl holder in January. I was thrilled!!! It's VERY hard to get on the front page. I've seen alot of record bowls (which I've made myself) made out of the vinyl....but thought I'd try to create something a little different. This would go great with the vinyl record container that I also make in an office. Pencils in one and mail in the other. I'd love for one of my Book Handbags to be on one day.
