Handmade objects always have a story. They have a real character and charm over mass-produced items. My blog is featuring all the handmade items I make and I'm also going to post Free Patterns for crocheting, knitting and other crafts. I'm also going to post my favourite recipes for free! I love to recycle books and records and create unique purses, clocks, IPhone docks, Ereader Tablet Covers, hollow safe books. You can find my crafting in My RETROGRANDMA Etsy Store

I also love to seek out collectible treasures and you can find them in my RetroClassics shop on Etsy

Busy with NEW Record Album Cover Handbags!

Well I've been sewing up a storm here these last few days. I had to replenish my SOLD purses. Here are a few more new additions to my Record Album Cover Handbags: The Go Gos, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Elvis Presley. I would like to get as many made as I can now before gardening season is here. I can't wait to get my hands in the dirt!

Can't be a record album purse if you don't have the vinyl on it !!!!!

Do you still have the Go-Go's bag? Or did it sell? When I was growing up, my daddy and I listened to that album ALL THE TIME! I have a photo of myself, around age 5, sitting in the midst of a hundreds records and that is the one that was spinning!

The bag itself isn't really my style, but I would totally carry it - just because it's my beloved Go-Go's!
